My walking the Camino de Santiago next year, requires a lot of preparation for the trip. Fitness is one aspect that really needs to be considered. Laziness set in over the last few months and I have put on a few pounds.
The good thing about habit is that if you do things consistently, it makes it that much easier to to be consistent. Thus, the habit of not going to the gym is easy to maintain as well.
I recently came across a video by Wendy Ida of "Look Good Naked" fame. She and I are very close in age and I was blown away by how good she looks! Don't get me wrong here... it is not just about looks but also about health. I am at that age where things are starting to "go" vision, hearing etc. I want to enjoy my trip next year walking the Camino de Santiago but if I could be that fit, the trip would be that much more enjoyable and I would be much less likely to experience any injuries. Thus begins my quest... to look good naked and feel like I reversed the aging process!
